Hello team,
We're excited to share our latest updates designed to improve your experience with Terramate. Read on to discover what our team has been working on!
Personalized Home Screen
We finally shipped the new home screen 🚀 Previously, there was no easy way for your developers to get an overview of all relevant and current tasks - we just changed that! From now on, if you log in to Terramate Cloud, you will see a personalized dashboard that provides you with an overview of all current and important tasks assigned to you, such:
- Open pull requests that await your review
- Active alerts such as drift or failed deployments assigned to you
- All relevant deployments
The home screen also provides widgets that help you understand all your previous contributions. Additionally, you can use the home screen to view your team members' performance and contributions as well! Enjoy ☺
Conflicting Deployment Labels
Sometimes, you end up in a situation in which multiple opened pull requests in a single repository affect the same stacks. If you merge one of those pull requests, all other pull requests might end up introducing conflicting changes if not rebased and planned again.
Terramate already has a feature to detect conflicts introduced by deployments. However, this is not as flexible as some of our customers wanted it to be. This is why we just introduced the terramate-merge-conflict label, which will be automatically added to all conflicting pull requests.
You can now use this label to configure custom workflows. For example, it allows you to prevent and effectively forbid merging any pull requests that have the terramate-merge-conflict label attached!
Enterprise SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) Support
Manage your users and teams with Okta, Auth0, Azure Active Directory or any other SAML SSO provider? No problem! With the Terramate Enterprise plan, you can now sync your users and teams from any enterprise-grade SAML Single Sign-On (SSO). Feel free to grab a slot on our calendar if you want to use SAML SSO in your Terramate organization - we’re happy to help!
Minor Changes
- We released Terramate CLI 0.13.0, which now also supports SSO via SAML.
- 0.13.0 also contains a security improvement, now requiring you to provide a
terramate.cloud.organizationorTM_CLOUD_ORGANIZATIONenvironment variable when using the cloud features.
As always, we appreciate your feedback and support.
